Abstract

FORMULAÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA TÓPICA E SEU USO. Trata de uma formulação farmacêutica tópica de liberação modificada que incorpora um princípio ativo antifúngico derivado de extratos vegetais, especificamente um monoterpeno com insaturações e uma função aldeído, o citral. A invenção trata, também, do uso da referida formulação para a fabricação de uma forma farmacêutica de liberação modificada semissólida, especificamente um hidrogel, útil para o tratamento de infecções fúngicas, especificamente a candidíase, na mucosa bucal.
