A presente invenção trata de um processo para obtenção de revestimento organometálico (zinc flake) em solução aquosa. Maisespecificamente, a presente invenção diz respeito à obtenção de revestimento do tipo zinc flake compreendendo carga de sílica coloidal nanométrica. Nesse âmbito, a presente invenção sugere um processo para a obtenção de um revestimento para peças metálicas com dureza superficial melhorada e alto desempenho contra corrosão. A presente invenção também se refere a um processo para aplicação dos revestimentos organometálicos obtidos em peças metálicas e aos revestimentos organometálicos.
