Trata-se de método de encapsulamento de substâncias em Poli(ácido lático) - PLA - e dispositivo implantável obtido para uso como carreador vacinal e farmacológico para liberação controlada de substâncias como vitamina E, fármacos e agentes imunizantes permitindo, assim, fácil aplicação em animais, uma vez que, é inserido através de agulha e permite a implantação por via subcutânea e intraperitoneal viabilizando a imunização de animais em geral.
