Abstract
APARELHO INTRA-BUCAL PARA MOVIMENTO DE DISTALIZAÇÃO DE MOLARES SUPERIORES. O aparelho intra-bucal para movimento de distalização dentária ortodôntica descrito na presente patente é um dispositivo dento-muco suportado desenvolvido para promover movimento ortodôntico de distalização de molares superiores. Ele tem como objetivo minimizar os efeitos colaterais indesejáveis, comuns nesse tipo de movimento. Para isso, suas extensões vestibular e palatina permitem a aplicação da força ortodôntica o mais próximo possível do centro de resistência dos dentes, reduzindo ou eliminando a tendência de giroversão que pode ocorrer durante esse tipo de movimento.
