Abstract

APARELHO INTRA-BUCAL PARA MOVIMENTO DE INTRUSÃO DENTÁRIA ORTODÔNTICA.O aparelho intra-bucal para movimento de intrusão dentária ortodôntica descrito na presente patente é um dispositivo dento-muco suportado para realização de movimentos ortodônticos de intrusão de molares superiores. Ele tem como objetivo reduzir os efeitos colaterais indesejáveis, comuns nesse tipo de movimento. Suas extensões vestibular e palatina permitem a aplicação da força ortodôntica o mais próximo possível do centro de resistência dos dentes, reduzindo ou eliminando a tendência de inclinação para vestibular ou palatino que pode ocorrer durante esse tipo de movimento.
