Abstract
FORMULAÇÃO DE UM MODIFICADOR REOLÓGICO E UM LÁTEXHÍBRIDO TERMOPLÁSTICO-EPÓXI. A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição que compreende um polímero de óxido de alquileno hidrofobicamente modificado que tem uma porção hidrofóbica caracterizada pelo seguinte grupo:em que R1 e x são como aqui definido; e a) uma dispersão aquosa de partículas de polímero termoplástico embebidas em um composto termoendurecível funcionalizado com unidades estruturais de um monômero antiaglomerante; e/ou b) um agente de cura. A composição da presente invenção é útil para melhorar a viscosidade de Brookfield e a resistência à flexão em revestimentos resultantes de, por exemplo, sistemas híbridos acrílico-epóxi de 2 componentes curados com um agente de cura.
