EMULSÃO À BASE DE Euterpe oleracea MART. COM ATIVIDADE LARVICIDA.A presente patente de invenção refere-se ao uso da emulsão à base de Euterpe oleracea para atividade larvicida. A emulsão contendo o óleo de E. oleracea, tween 80 e água destilada foi testada e levou a 100% de mortalidade de larvas de terceiro e quarto instar de Ae. aegypti, após 24 horas de exposição. Foi realizado o teste de toxicidade aguda (Dose Letal 50) da emulsão contendo óleo de E. oleracea, e foi constatado que, apesar de alguns sinais clínicos comportamentais apresentados, não apresentou toxicidade aguda na dose testada, não havendo morte dos camundongos testados. A emulsão contendo o óleo de E. oleracea, na faixa de concentração avaliada, demonstra atividade inseticida sobre larvas de Ae. aegypti.
