Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a uma matéria-prima para fabricação de ferro, compreendendo uma fase de CaFe3O5 sólido. A matéria-prima para fabricação de ferro pode ser produzida por um processo, compreendendo reagir uma combinação de uma fonte de cálcio e magnetita, em temperatura elevada, sob condições de redução suficientes para produzir a fase de CaFe3O5 sólido. O produto pode ser na forma de aglomerados, tais como péletes, com uma resistência compressiva de tal maneira que o produto é apropriado para transporte.
