AQUECEDOR DE SUCATA. O aquecedor de sucata é um equipamento destinado ao aquecimento de sucata com objetivo de aumentar a produtividade com menor custo em Aciaria a Oxigênio. É uma estrutura que consiste em uma base de tarugos com chapas metálicas e uma panela de aço com um bico pelicano prolongado como recipiente para aquecer a sucata (antes a temperatura ambiente) para temperatura aproximadamente 390°C utilizando gás de Alto Forno para ser carregada no Convertedor LD.
