ANTENA BIOINSPIRADA NA PLANTA DE OPUNTIA FICUS-INDICA OPERANDO NA BANDA DE 5 GHZ. A presente invenção trata-se de uma antena com forma bioinspirada, compacta, alimentação híbrida, e diagrama de irradiação omnidirecional com aplicação na área de redes sem fio podendo ser utilizadas em aplicações médicas e não médicas, com uso junto ao corpo humano ou de animais, e em redes de sensores ou atuadores visando o desenvolvimento de um dispositivo compacto operando em faixas de frequências comerciais, 5 GHz (5,15 a 5,85 GHz), para uso em protocolos variados.
