SEQUÊNCIA DE AMINOÁCIDOS, COMPOSIÇÃO E USO DA SEQUÊNCIA DE AMINOÁCIDOS. O PHev-Me1 é uma sequência de aminoácidos sintética, modificada a partir de uma heveína de Manihot esculenta. Composição de vinte aminoácidos, PHev-Me1 possui atividade contra bactérias (ATCC e resistente) como Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa e Acinetobacter baumannii, além de leveduras do gênero Candida. Sua toxicidade foi testada contra células eritrocitárias humanas e macrófagos de ratos, onde PHev-Me1 apresentou potencial terapêutico, em sua dose ativa de 512 µg/mL. A presente invenção se situa nos campos da Biotecnologia, Farmácia e Medicina.
