Abstract

NANOPARTÍCULAS DE SS-FOSFATO TRICÁLCICO MODIFICADAS COM NIÓBIO. A presente invenção descreve a composição e a metodologia de produção de um biomaterial cerâmico modificado com nióbio, para a produção de nanopartículas resistente mecanicamente para reparo ósseo. A inserção de nióbio na estrutura do fosfato tricálcico, proporciona um reforço microestrutural desta cerâmica, melhorando suas propriedades mecânicas, e possibilitando que esse tipo de material cerâmico posso ser utilizado em regiões susceptíveis a altas cargas. Este material ainda apresenta a capacidade de adsorver moléculas bioativas, a exemplo de vários fármacos, o que pode aumentar de forma significativa a gama de aplicações desse material.
