CÉLULA FOTOELETROQUÍMICA PARA REAÇÃO DE REDUÇÃO DE OXIGÊNIO (OU DE DIÓXIDO DE CARBONO) E OXIDAÇÃO DE POLUENTES ORGÂNICOS. A presente invenção se refere a uma célula fotoeletroquímica constituída por um fotocatodo e um fotoanodo, conectados externamente a uma célula solar, onde o fotocatodo é um eletrodo de difusão gasosa contendo um semicondutor tipo-p como fotocatalisador para promoção de reação de redução do oxigênio (O2) para produção de peróxido de hidrogênio, ou redução de dióxido de carbono (CO2) para produção de gás de síntese (CO/H2), metano, formiato, alcóois e outros hidrocarbonetos com redução de CO2, e o fotoanodo é um eletrodo de semicondutor tipo-n para promoção da reação de oxidação de poluentes orgânicos concomitantemente.
