Abstract

GEL À BASE DE ÓLEO ESSENCIAL DE FOLHAS DE CROTON SONDERIANUS (MUELL.AGR.) PARA TRATAMENTO DE LESÕES CUTÂNEAS, um produto para o tratamento de lesões cutâneas, baseado em dispersão coloidal de extrato vegetal fitoterápico do gênero Croton sonderianus (Muell.Agr.), também conhecido como marmeleiro-preto, com indícios de longa data na Medicina Popular de atividade anti-inflamatória e antimicrobiana, tendo sua atividade cicatrizante confirmada em estudo laboratorial com animais de experimentação. O composto em forma de gel apresenta óleo essencial de folhas de Croton sonderianus (Muell.Agr.) e, dentre outros compostos, os majoritários, Z-beta-Ocimeno, beta-Gurjuneno, alfa-Humuleno, alfa-Muuroleno Cupareno, Palustrol, Óxido de cariofileno, Isolongifolan-7-alfa-ol, 3-Thujopsanona, tendo ação dermatológica como dispersão semissólida de forma a se liquefazer após contato com a superfície cutânea, originando uma camada fina, não oclusiva, não oleosa e inodora.
