FORMA FARMCÊUTICA LÍQUIDA À BASE DE Morinda citrifolia PARA TRATAMENTO ESQUISTOSSOMICIDA. A presente patente de invenção refere-se à forma farmacêutica líquida à base de Morinda citrofolia para o tratamento esquistossomicida. Esta formulação contém como excipientes: sorbitol 70%, ácido benzoico, essência de baunilha, sucralose e água destilada. A obtenção do extrato seco de M. citrifolia ocorreu a partir do extrato aquoso da polpa do seu fruto, seguida por liofilização. A formulação atendeu aos parâmetros de controle de qualidade físico-químico previamente estabelecidos. Trata-se de uma formulação inovadora, eficiente e de baixo custo, destinada ao tratamento alternativo esquistossomicida.
