A presente invenção refereseaométodopara modificação da composição de lipídeos de superfície em células de blastocisto bovino, cuja modificação ocorre durante a própria etapa de cultivo in vitro da produção in vitro de embriões. Dito processo é caracterizado por utilizar vesículas lipídicas multilamelares (MLVs) as quais alteram o perfil lipídico da membrana dos embriões, potencialmente conferindo diferente criotolerabilidade.
