Abstract
FOTODETECTOR, E, DISPOSITIVO DE FIBRA ÓPTICAUm fotodetector de ampla largura de banda espectral projetado para uso com todos os tipos de fibras ópticas usadas em diferente redes e sensores aviônicos e um processo para fabricar tais fotodetectores. É provido um fotodetector de barreira Schottky que inclui germânio, que tem uma resposta espectral ampla a luz na faixa de ultravioleta a infravermelho próximo (220 a 1.600 nm). A provisão de um fotodetector tendo uma resposta espectral ampla evita o uso de múltiplos diferentes tipos de fotodetectores e receptores em uma plataforma aviônica com diferentes redes e sensores de fibra óptica.
