A presente invenção pertencente à seção de pesticida, mais especificamente, um larvicida etanoico resultante de reação hidrotermal de hidróxido alcalino e acetato de zinco, permite o controle de população do mosquito Aedes Aegypti, transmissor do vírus da dengue, zica e chicungunha, através da sua inserção de partículas semicondutoras de óxido de zinco entre 5 nm e 9 nm em larvas, que torna o material extremamente reativo e letal ao organismo. Além do mais, a concretização desta invenção proporciona a substituição de larvicidas prejudiciais ao meio ambiente e à saúde animal por este que contempla um produto não tóxico.
