DISPOSITIVO DE ILUMINAÇÃO EXTRACORPÓREA PULMONAR E SEU USOA presente invenção faz referência a um dispositivoemissor de luz, ajustável ao tórax humano, a ser utilizadopara erradicação de microrganismos causadores de infecçõespulmonares, em especial, para erradicação de bactériascausadoras de pneumonias, através da técnica de inativaçãofotodinâmica antimicrobiana, de forma extracorpórea, ouseja, não invasiva, a fim de proporcionar agilidade emelhores resultados no tratamento de tais infecções. Taldispositivo contém emissores de luz que irradiam luzinfravermelha, sistema de fixação e ajuste ao corpo e sistemade controle de irradiação de luz.
