A invenção do presente pedido de patente trata de um produto natural baseado nos óleo essencial de casca do frutos de Citrus reticulata que promovem alta toxicidade residual sobre a traça-das-crucíferas (P. xylostella), espécie de importância agrícola para culturas de Brassica oleraceae var. italica L. (brócolis), Brassica pekinnensis L. (couve chinesa), Brassica oleraceae var. botrytis L. (couve flor) e Brassica oleraceae var. capitata L. (repolho). Tal produto natural do óleo essencial de C. reticulata, água, espalhante adesivo e dispersante.
