Abstract
A presente invenção descreve uma substância sintética denominada (BNFQ-H5) que é uma nova bis-naftoquinona sintetizada a partir da 2-hidroxi-1,4-naftoquinona (Lausona) e sua composição com a Ribavirina, como potentes agentes antiviral e inibidores da replicação do vírus Chikungunya (CHIKV). A BNFQ-H5 não é tóxica e é capaz de reduzir a infectividade do CHIKV. Esta molécula e seu combinado com a Ribavirina inibem a produção in vitro do Vírus Chikungunya (CHIKV).
