Abstract
Para determinar se um dispositivo (110) está aberto à Internet (140), o dispositivo (110), armazenando um identificador estatisticamente exclusivo para o dispositivo ou um grupo de dispositivos incluindo o dispositivo, envia (S210) um pedido de pesquisa compreendendo um identificador exclusivo para um mecanismo de pesquisa da Internet (150), recebe (S220) uma resposta à solicitação de pesquisa do mecanismo de pesquisa da Internet (150), determina (S230) a resposta de pesquisa se o identificador estatisticamente exclusivo foi encontrado pelo mecanismo de pesquisa da Internet (150), e caso o identificador estatisticamente exclusivo foi encontrado pelo mecanismo de busca da Internet (150), realiza (S240) uma ação destinada a desabilitar o acesso ao identificador estatisticamente exclusivo da Internet (140) via interface de comunicação (113). O dispositivo (110) também pode atualizar (S250) identificador único estatisticamente, caso o identificador estatisticamente exclusivo tenha sido encontrado na resposta de busca.
