A presente invenção descreve um método analítico, por cromatografia líquida de interação hidrofílica (HILIC) utilizando detector de arranjo de diodos (DAD) em uma fase estacionária zwitteriônica, capaz de detectar e quantificar gadodiamida (Gd-DTPA-BMA) em amostras farmacêuticas e biológicas. Este método pode ser utilizado para detectar e quantificar gadodiamida (Gd-DTPA-BMA) em amostras farmacêuticas e biológicas, tais como lipossomas e soro sanguíneo.
