Abstract
A presente invenção consiste em produtos biodegradáveis a base de quitosana incorporados com extratos de Hibiscus acetosella Welw.ex.Hiern e de Psidium guajava (goiabeira) nas concentrações de 0,25%, 0,5%, 0,75% e 1%. Os produtos foram desenvolvidos no formato de gel, Solução efervescente e pastilhas. Para avaliar a atividade antimicrobiana dos produtos, utilizou-se o teste de difusão em discos com aproximadamente 6 mm de diâmetro frente a cepas de S. aureus, E. coli , P. aeruginosa e C. albicans (CLSI, 2012).
