Trata de um dispositivo (1) formado por uma câmara (2) cilíndrica em aço (3) recoberta internamente por tijolo refratário (4) e revestimento térmico (5), cujas extremidades troncônicas (6 e 7) derivando para tubulares servem para seu acoplamento à chaminé (8) e a fornalha (9) cuja a fumaça originada da queima da palha sofre uma segunda combustão em dito dispositivo (1), no qual todos os poluentes e seus componentes nocivos à atmosfera são eliminados.
