Os suplementos adicionais aumentam a taxa de multiplicação iniciale ajudam as células de Leptospira se manterem viáveis, melhorando assim ataxa de sucesso de isolamento de sorovares fastidiosos e facilitando odiagnóstico da leptospirose animal e humana por cultura bacteriana.
