FORMULAÇÕES FARMACÊUTICAS DE LIBERAÇÃO PROLONGADA À BASE DE BENZNIDAZOL PARA TRATAMENTO ANTICHAGÁSICO. A presente patente de invenção refere-se às formulações farmacêuticas de liberação prolongada à base de benznidazol para o tratamento antichagásico. Esta formulação contém como excipientes: benznidazol, polivinilpirrolidona, hidroxipropilmetilcelulose, lactose spray dried, e estearato de magnésio. No processo de fabricação, foi utilizada a técnica da granulação por via úmida. Todos os resultados do controle físico-químico dos comprimidos obtidos atenderam aos parâmetros previamente estabelecidos. Trata-se de uma formulação inovadora, eficiente e de baixo custo, destinada ao tratamento antichagásico.
