Abstract
A presente invenção descreve um processo que recupera a quitina e o carbonato de cálcio de resíduos de crustáceos empregando hidróxido de sódio e ácido clorídrico sem utilizar fontes de aquecimento. Adicionalmente, no processo da presente invenção não há produção de resíduos. A presente invenção se situa nos campos da química, mais especificamente no que se refere aos processos de obtenção de quitina.
