PROCESSO PARA OBTENÇÃO DE FICOCIANINA UTILIZANDO LÍQUIDO IÔNICO E EDTA?. Patente de invenção. Trata-se de um processo de extração seletiva de ficocianina a partir de microalgas e cianobactérias. Para tal é utilizado líquido iônico ou ácido etilenodiamino tetra-acético diluídos em solventes aquosos ou orgânicos para a ruptura celular. Na sequência é realizada a extração utilizando solventes aquosos ou orgânicos. A Ficocianina é obtida com grau de pureza alimentar (superior a 0,7), podendo ser utilizada como corante na indústria de alimentos sem processos de purificação posteriores à extração.
