Uso do óleo essencial de Citrus sinensis (L.) OSBECK microemusionado como produto leishmanicida. A formulação/composição do produto leishmanicida proposto compreende sistema microemulsionado (óleo essencial/tensoativo/co-tensoativo), que favorece a solubilidade do óleo em meio aquoso. A microemulsão resulta da obtenção de um sistema microemulsionado que favorece a liberação do óleo (e seus constituintes) com atividade leishmanicida contra formas promastigotas de Leishmania amazonensis.
