MÉTODO DE DETECÇÃO E CORREÇÃO DE SOMBRAS E PENUMBRAS EMIMAGEM COLORIDA DIGITAL A presente invenção descreve um método de detecção e correção de sombras e penumbras em imagem colorida digital. Especificamente, a presente invenção compreende um método para a detecção de sombras e penumbras em uma imagem digital colorida por meio da elaboração de máscaras e um método de execução da correção das ditas sombras e penumbras por meio da adaptação cromática de imagem de acordo com uma função de cores. A presente invenção se situa nos campos da Engenharia Cartográfica, mais precisamente na área de correção de imagens digitais áreas e de satélites.
