Abstract
PROMOTORES UBIQUITINA DE MILHO. A presente invenção refere-se ao promotor Ubiquitina de Zea mays c.v. B73 (Z. mays c.v. B73 Ubi-1), que dirige altos níveis de expressão constitutiva de transgene em plantas. Uso repetido do mesmo promotor Ubi-1 de Z. mays c.v. B73 em construtos multi - genes também pode conduzir ao silenciamento de gene, pelo qual torna produtos transgênicos menos eficazes. São providos elementos promotores reguladores de gene, construtos, e métodos para expressão de um transgene em células de plantas e/ou tecidos de plantas usando elementos reguladores de gene a partir do promotor Ubi-1 de um diferente genótipo de Z. mays, Z. mays c.v. B104.
