RESUMO Prótese de disco intervertebral cervical Campo de aplicação: Saúde animal A presente invenção é fundamentada no desenvolvimento de uma prótese de disco intervertebral cervical que visa tratar cães que apresentam a afecção espondilomielopatia cervical (síndrome de Wobbler) disco associada. A prótese foi idealizada com o principal objetivo de manter mobilidade intervertebral enquanto proporciona distração vertebral. A principal vantagem da invenção é a criação de duas placas (abas) que repousam sobre os corpos vertebrais cranial e caudal, e recebem parafusos bloqueados.
