A presente invenção refere-se a um recobrimento à base de silício adequado para ser aplicado sobre superfícies metálicas de um eletrodoméstico. O recobrirnento da presente invenção protege as superfícies metálicas do eletrodoméstico contra o amarelamento ou mudanças de cor, por temperaturas, entre outros fatores, e facilita a limpeza das mesmas.
