MÉTODO PARA TRATAR UM MATERIAL CARBONÁCEO. Trata-se de um método de tratamento de um material carbonáceo em um reator de leito fluidizado. O método inclui inserir um material carbonáceo em um reator de leito fluidizado; fluidizar o material carbonáceo com um meio fluidizante para formar um leito fluidizado de material carbonáceo no reator de leito fluidizado; e aquecer o leito fluidizado de material carbonáceo no reator de leito fluidizado com energia de micro-ondas a uma pressão menor que cerca de 506,62 kPa (5 atm) e, na ausência de oxigênio, gerar uma mistura que compreende carvão vegetal, óleo e gás.
