Abstract

SISTEMA E MÉTODO PARA TESTAR UMA LIGAÇÃO COM FILETE. A presente invenção refere-se a aparelho de teste (600) para caracterizar uma resistência à tensão de uma ligação com filete (128) de um espécime de teste (300) que pode incluir um acessório inferior (634) e um acessório superior (602). O espécime de teste (300) pode incluir um componente de revestimento (302) ligado a um componente de reforço (308). O acessório inferior (6334) pode manter o componente de reforço (308) em uma posição fixa. O acessório superior (602) pode engatar o componente de revestimento (308) em um par de localizações de engate discreto (626) nos lados opostos da ligação com filete (128). O acessório superior (602) pode ser mecanicamente acoplado a uma junta de Cardan (604) e pode substancialmente isolar a ligação com filete (128) da flexão assimétrica durante a aplicação de uma carga de teste de tensão (500) à ligação com filete (128).
