Abstract
MÉTODO DE PROCESSAMENTO DE UMA COMPOSIÇÃO INTERMETÁLICA DE ALUMINETO DE TITÂNIO. Trata-se de métodos de processamento de composições que contêm titânio e aluminio, especialmente composições intermetálicas de alumineto de titânio (intermetálicos de TiAI) com base no composto intermetálico de TiAI (gama). Os métodos conferem etapas de processamento que incluem um ciclo de prensagem isostática a quente (HIP) e um ciclo de tratamento por calor que pode ser executado em um único recipiente. As composições intermetálicas de TiAI processadas dessa maneira exibem preferivelmente uma microestrutura duplex que contém morfologias equiaxiais e lamelares.
