Abstract

MÉTODO DE REMOÇÃO E PREVENÇÃO DA FORMAÇÃO DE BIOFILME DE BACTÉRIAS REDUTORAS DE SULFATO (BRS). A presente invenção propõe o uso do óleo de capim limão ou do seu principal constituinte monoterpênico, o citral, no controle do processo de biocorrosão e acidulação biogênica causada pelo crescimento e formação de biofilme de bactérias redutoras de sulfato (BRS).
