Abstract
SISTEMAS COMPACTOS PARA CULTIVO MASSIVO DE MICROALGAS Foram desenvolvidas estruturas e de fácil montagem, operação e manutenção no formato de tanques circulares e ''raceways'' com volume útil de 2.000 L, para cultivo intensivo de microalgas. Os tanques foram montados utilizando estruturas de ferro galvanizado e cobertos com membrana de PVC flexível de dupla face. A homogeneização da água nos tanques circulares foi feito com borbulhamento, enquanto que nos ''raceways'' a água era movimentada por pás mecânicas giratórias. Vários ciclos de produção foram realizados nos dois sistemas obtendo-se excelentes níveis de produtividade (0,5 - 2,5g peso seco de microalgas /L).
