A invenção refere-se a uma grelha de arrefecimento para resfriamento e transporte de clínquer de cimento, tendo pelo menos um elemento de grelha (1) com pelo menos um suporte (10) para clínquer de cimento, tendo pelo menos um canal de ar de arrefecimento (20) descarregando no suporte (10) que é inclinado na direção no transporte (2) e pelo menos numa seção (24) adjacente à sua saída usada para injetar ar de arrefecimento dentro do clínquer a qual tem características de arrefecimento melhoradas se o canal de ar arrefecimento (2) for curvado na direção do transporte em pelo menos uma seção adjacente à saída.
