Caso haja interesse em manter a figura atual no certificado de registro é necessário que o elemento meramente ilustrativo seja reapresentado linhas tracejadas, conforme item 5.6.4 (Elementos meramente ilustrativos) do Manual de Desenhos Industriais. A legenda dessa figura complementar deverá citar expressamente sua natureza meramente ilustrativa, em observância ao item 5.10 do Manual (Análise da legenda das figuras). Alternativamente, a referida figura pode ser excluída do conjunto de figuras.
